I am interested in this cover, as a side trip, for my Route 66 collection- but not at listing price. The Havasupai Nation tribe that lives there has mailed delivered by mule train regularly & helicopter for larger shipments of essentials at the Grand Canyon Caverns area in Supai AZ. I am thinking this cover would normally go for $1.00 at a dealer table. What does everyone else think? Also, the shipping is $2.49 (non-negotiable) and Returns are not accepted. This guy is trying to make a quick buck for his mother from his grandmothers inherited belongings.

Does anyone know the catalog value on cover (not First Day) for this stamp?

Hi Stamperdude.....

Over priced.....if the value of that stamp on cover is 50 cents I'd be very surprised. Also, the cover shown has a bent bottom left corner.

Take your time and search for others......I'd bet you can find one listed for less in as good or better condition.

Thanks Tom. I will probaly check out the other online auction sites. I viewed the other items the seller is offering and most look overpriced and there is only 1 other philatelic item. He said he had sold a 1963 cover for over $7.00 and someone wants the items.

Make him an offer YOU can live with. Either he takes it or he doesn't. As Philb says . . . "There will always be another offered sooner or later!"

He said something like that, anyway.
