The Commores (Moon) Archipeligo.

The Federal Islamic Republic of the Commores.

I am surprised to never had a folder for these.
Any status on these? Cinderellas? excess of needs?
Any info welcomed.

They are not cinderella.
Mayotte could joint France in 1976 then the The Federal Islamic Republic of the Commores was form (1978). It's three island (Mohéli, Anjouan, Grande Comore)but there was allot of trouble there for years because each island had a government and fight each others to make it simple. There is peace since 2001 and it's call "Union des Comores". Took a look at Scott and the stamps has country name in the late 70's and early 80's, "État Comorien" and "République des Comores". Those change of names reflect the instability around there back then.
