If I buy 110lb card stock will this be able to be printed using an inkjet printer or is a laser printer necessary?

It depends on the printer. Usually if you enter the model number on the brand's web site it will give you specs on what paper can and cannot be used.

Just be forewarned: Most stamp collectors will tell you not to use an ink jet printer for album pages, laser printing is preferred.

I would suggest you get them printed on a good Laser printer, Ink from a inkjet will transfer from one page to the other facing page over the years as they are pressed together on the shelf.

also make sure its Archival safe paper (which is free of lots of stuff not just acid), otherwise at the least Acid free paper.

110 lb is some seriously thick stuff! I used 67 lb cover stock, and thought I went a little overboard with that.

Okay thanks for that advise. Staple had 65lb but I wasn't sure if that would be enough, maybe I will just get that instead of 110.

Guys, after trying several different stock sizes, I have settled on 24lb paper, acid free. Not only is it a lot cheaper, a hinge doesn't show through and it's a lot cheaper to buy the paper.

I'm with stampvirgin

I get one called Synergy smart paper with 25% cotton in the natural because I don't like white. It's 24 lb and archival. It feels stiffer because of the cotton content. It's also from staples.
