Today I had my first philately conversation with a SCF member over the phone. It was none other than the legendary K. We discussed stamp conservation in a tropical environment where K is an expert
Here are the takeaway (mine not K's he already knows everything on conservation and then some)
Do NOT use stock book use philateic sleeves
Aim for a humidity level of 60%
Use dehumidifiers silica gel etc
ok if anyone else has any questions ont his topic let me know
also for a limited time if anyone is interested in speaking to me let me know and perhaps we can work out a telephone call. Cant promise anything because of the difference in time zones ( north amaerica is a breeze I dont know about australia but I will give it my best shot)
Would love to actually speak to a few people on here who are very high on the buddy list but whom I have never met/spoken to
and BC you are a very dear friend but I cannot send you turtles from india we will both go to jail for that and it wont even be the same prison
