About 10% of my standard letters come in uncancelled but abount 50-60% of my larger letters/parcel are uncancelled. And they still can't figure out why the PO is losing money. I guess it is like they say if you want to makke it where crume don't pay, let the government run it.

We should all go on a 'WE WANT OUR STAMPS CANCELLED' drive and try to teach them what they should be doing.

I think letters to the editor and columns about concerns over the invisible cancels would work wonders.

Excellent idea !

But shouldn't we have some meetings on that first?

I agree - lets act immediately and send round a Memo to convene a Focus Group to discuss the Feasability Study into having Meetings.

I don't understand the paranoia. If the stamps are not canceled and are soaked off of the envelopes, then they are fair game (ie, usable postage) in my opinion.

There is no such thing as an "invisible cancel." The ink alone would cost the post office millions of dollars a year.
