How many have picked up a fresh pane of the "Celebrating Lunar New Year" ... the first Forever Stamp of 2011 ... recently issued by the USPS?

I have scanned my copy below. I guess because they are only issued in panes of 12 that they have no printed plate number designations:

Interestingly, the post office clerk had to open a fresh package of that stamp for me as "no one had asked for the stamp yet". (She also told me she has the Kansas Statehoood Stamp in her vault ready to release later this week when formally set to be released.)

That's a refreshing change from another post office clerk who gave me a long story as to how they have to order these new issues special from their centralized office and often don't get them until well after they are released.

Go back tomorrow and BEG for the Kansas, then send a cover to all your SCF friends!

Let's lock in that EKU now!

I have not picked one up yet. It doesn't surprise me that no one had asked for it yet as it was just issued on the 22nd. That happens to me quite often that I am the first or very close to the first to ask for the newest stamp issue. Good For You!

No plate numbers? What? What was the last stamp not to have plate numbers? Was it the Overrun Nations?

I checked back myself. Many of the modern self-adhesive stamps in small panes seemingly do not have printed plate numbers anymore, much to the chagrin of the plate block collector, I imagine. (Are there still any plate block collectors out there anymore?)
