I did search first but apologise if this has been asked before. What resources are available to determine the quantities that certain stamps were printed in? I was looking for example at Canada scott #411 $1 Export.
Stanley Gibbons gave away a free " Great Britain Numbers Issued - 1840 to 1910 " booklet with one of their concise catalogues, I have that if you need any for Great Britain between those dates. My South African Colour Catalogue also lists some of the numbers printed where available.
I agree numbers printed is a great bit of info - I wonder if anyone has tried to collect all of one stamp :)
