Scott lists 3 colours for this, which one is it? I don't have any others for comparison.

Scott 14 rose

Scott 14A red (that's pretty generic)

Scott 14Ab vermilion

Thanks Rev, I'm leaning more to rose but what do I know, my wife is always saying I have no idea about colours. Can you imagine that and I'm the stamp collector.

Guess I have to be different because I was leaning towards the red

The reason I think it's the rose colour since Scott lists that as the most common and usually if I have a stamp(s) which have many varieties then I have the cheapest.

Thanks to all the members for their opinions.Obviously colours are not my forte.

I'm no expert on colours either but I did find this image on the web :

In order - vermilion-red, pale rose-red and deep rose-red,

The scan seems to have a orange hue, looks vermilion to me.
