Hi
I am new to this forum, so if I make a mistake please forgive me.
I have the following NZ Christmas Stamps in my collection.
If you not from the scans, one is missing some of the pink colouring in the clouds. Is this a common variety
Regards,
Horamakhet

welcome to the family H,

Your scans are too poor to make an estimation.
We need up close and personal to appraise
possible damage through soaking etc

Hi
Thank for the answer. The stamps are mint unhinged.
Also can anyone advise me how to make my scans larger. I seem to have trouble with photobucket.
Love this forum, everyone seems so friendly and helpful

Hi there,

It looks like you are taking a picture of these stamps. Try to get as close up to the stamps to begin with, that will still allow a good focus on the stamps.
Once you have downloaded the photo, try cropping it with an image manipulation software. I use GIMP (free to use), but there are quite a number of them out there.

Don't worry Horamakhet.

It takes everyone a while to learn the art of posting scanned images -- you'll catch on soon enough.

There are a few good tutorials here in some other threads. There's also a "Test" Forum where you can practice.

Most importantly, we're glad you're here and we look forward to seeing more of your stamps -- and seeing them better

I also have terrible problems with Photobucket. However, in this instance the problem might be fix easily. When you upload an image to Photobucket you have a choice as to the size of the image. I think it says 'Customise your images' or something like that. You click on that and it gives you the option to increase or decrease the size of the image.
