Hi to all

The following are some stamps that were in part of the old collections that were given to me by family as I seem to be the only person who had an interest in stamps. There are thousands of them, and it is going to take a long time to sort. They date from the first postage stamps to the 1970's.
The image is of a group of Spanish stamps from 1889 of the Infanta. However one says it is an error. According to an old Lincoln stamp album of the 1890's it says the following.
"An error was made in the printing the 15 cents. Some were printed in Brown the colour of the 10 cents, these are worth searching for."

However I can find no other information other than this.
Anyone have any ideas?

Regards,

Horamakhet

It looks like the correct colour to me Hora,
purple.
The error may refer to the "communicaciones" ?
Here is the brown and purple alongside

I agree with Rod. I do not see any color errors in that picture (a close-up of the stamp may help).
