Hi, another reason they are somewhat costly is that they were removed from sale by the POD early, on June 30, 1930. The actual number sold are:
65c C13 95,536
$1.30 C14 72.438
$2.60 C15 61,296
They are not rare but neither are they plentiful.
The .50c C18 "Baby Zep" sold 324,070.
I pulled these figures from 1847usa.
