Is this a precancel (without bars) from Concord, Mass.? If so, what is the style #? I am quite struck by the considerable distance between the city and state name:

Also, this one from Shirley, Mass. looks to be a double-strike inverted precancel. Does anyone know if this variety commands any premium or is it just a curiosity?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Concord MA L-2 cv 0.50 - often seen on black Harding
Shirley MA 703 - smudgy invert, most type collectors would prefer a single, upright impression
cv 0.25

Thanks for the info. (I never knew the Type L-2 for Concord, MA had no lines.)

Awhile back I posted some precancels without lines from St. Paul Minnesota. Those, along with the Concord, MA one shown above, are the only precancels I have ever encountered without lines, although I understand they may be more common than I think.
