OK, I'm starting in on my covers and we all know I"m new to early USA

so can anyone tell me what these two are and if the 1cent has a secret mark as I've never seen the mark before. it is suppose to be just to left of the #1 in the first circle.

my guesses for 1 cent is 134,145,156,167,182,192,206 (thats not very narrowed down)

my guesses for 2 cents is 178,178c,183

1 cent is 206 because of shading in arabesque and grayish blue. 2 cent looks soft porous probably 183.

Edwin, here is a useful reference for identification -- it provides good examples of the secret marks and paper types.

I agree it seems to have the darker shading on the top half of stamp but shouldn't it have the secret mark on the 3rd and larger bubble on the left of the 1 cent?
or does the 44b have a different secret mark?

I have copies of 182 and 206 that do not have easily visible secret marks. Under 30x magnification you can normally see at least part of the secret mark impression.
