Here are three examples of Worcester, Mass. precancels:

I'm pretty sure the one on the left is a Type 225. The other two I can't seem to identify.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Wt1 you are correct 225, then the next is a 257 followed by a L-1E

Thanks.

As previously stated, I knew the 225; I was "iffy" on whether the second one was a 257, as I have another copy of that stamp, but wasn't sure if it was a match or not (because of the secondary cancellation on the copy shown); and as for the L-1E, well, as I've said before, I don't have a reference guide to identify those.

Thanks for the info. The stamps are now mounted in the correct spots in my MA precancel album, so I'll have my own reference to go by as more of those stamps come up.

Thanks for the correction, chasa. I just looked up the 257 which does not have serifs; therefore, the 43 Bureau would seem to fit the middle stamp. (Fortunately I have a better copy of the 257 for use in my album, my question came up because the stamp shown above was partially obliterated by the postmark and I couldn't identify it clearly.)
