Why is it we are amused when someone
has an unfortunate?
A speeding cricket ball in the groin <always> reaps a snigger.

Well Rod, My husband told me not share my feeling's on this topic and since my one and only New Years Resolution was to take my Husbands advice 11% of the time during 2011 here's a postmark that might just say it all...

11% gee, a figure I would dream about.
Nice slogan there Lucky,
Eire then still using roman numerals in the month.

Country roads Western Australia have taken to
erecting small white crosses at the point of fatalities.
Confronting at first, it has a very constant
reminder on one's speed and responsibility.

They do the same thing here in the U.S. with crosses. I call them Roadside Shrines.

Rodney, as a fan of Romanian stamps you're undoubtedly familiar with this one. Notable for a demonstration of the artist's lack of skill with perspective, if nothing else.

Hi Ryan, missed your post
Not seen that stamp before Thanks.

I am trying to date this Cinderella,
can anyone identify the car?
The winged radiator cap, and bulbous headlamps look
familiar is that something like a 1932 Packard?
Anyone?

Here's a cinderella. It's not mine (for sale on ebay) but I thought the subject matter was most appropriate for this thread. The producer is the Greater New York Safety Council. I expect this must date back to the 1950's:
