Stampman 1970, I have questions about what you have. Can you scan & post?
First, in 1934 there was no issues for the state of Nebraska, no overprints nor commeratives were issued. How do you know it is 1934?
Second, in 1929 the United States Post Office issued 11 values overprinted stamps each for "Nebr." = Nebraska & "Kans." = Kansas because so many post offices were being buglarized at this time, so the overprints were meant to reduse the interest of thieft of stamps in these states.
No other state has had its own postage stamp.

However, the state of Hawaii when it was an independent kingdom then republic issued it on stamps before being annexed to the United States in 1898. Three issues were printed after annexation in 1899 before the formal territory of Hawaii. Then in 1928 two overprinted commemoratives for the Hawaii Sesquicentennial were issued sold only in Hawaii & Washington, DC.
Other states were independent but never issued stamps were Texas (1835-46) & California (1846).
There is a Utah stamp, some postally used, issued for Mormon territory of Deseret.
This is a very questionable issue by most experts & was pre-statehood anyway.
With some aid from Texas there was the Republic of the Rio Grande (1839-41), capital was Laredo currently in Texas also never issued stamps.
The Confederate States of America of course issued 14 stamps (1861-65) of which 13 were put into use.
