Since this is principally an English speaking forum, not to begrudge our non English speaking members, why does is seem there are no active members from the UK?
US, Canada & Australia even India have a fair number of contributors but I guess I'm not seeing anyone from the UK.
Any thoughts or answers?

It could be that I've not spent time reading the same topics they are interested in.
But if 2 is what we have that seems very small for nation that is as large as the UK. |

Large, and full of stamp collectors. (For a country as large as the US, we're probably underrepresented, too.) |

There is a lot of mention of US stamps on here and not so much of GB stamps. So perhaps the only members from the UK are those that are interested in all stamps from around the world.
I would love some discussion on GB / UK / British / Great Britain stamps as they are fascinating.
You have to build the railroad and they will come.
If someone were to join (or already be a member) and suddenly have a passion for GB stamps and good posting skills and wished to spread the word about how fascinating the UK is as a postal entity and how the stamps are very interesting from a historical and Royalty perspective (and there are Royalty collectors even now in Canada I know anyway) and other hitherto unexplored areas of interest (cancels yay!, usage, pre-stamp covers, traffic lights, other areas of collecting that are largely unknown or ignored by North American collectors) then others would be drawn to the forum by the act of Googling for information. |

Well I'm from the UK and feel I ought to contribute to the discussion - however I have no answers! I think Puzzler may have a point, sometimes the discussions are very US focussed. This is not a criticism, just an observation. Topics wax and wane with particular members focusses, or flurries of interest in a topic. As I am an isolated collector, I can offer no insight into what other UK collectors' interests are. However, I do know that this is a very eclectic and open forum where members are always interested in new topics and angles, even if their own collections are very focussed. Perhaps this thread mught serve as a call to UK collectors who may be lurking to join up and join in? |

I'm from UK and have little or no interest in UK except machins, US/WW stamps except engraved which tend to be older items. If you're interested in Machins or engraved stamps then you will find me in those threads |
