I am new at collecting because I inherited a family of many new and old stamps. Instead of letting them sit in boxes, I've decided to research and share some of the items that I have and find out more about them. So far it has been fun yet kind of exhausting. Right now I am focusing on Republic of China stamps with mis-matched postmark and stamp issue date of 1981.

Welcome jennieSue, nice to have you here.

Part of the fun of stamps is having that link to the past. Knowing where the stamps come from, from fanily or other collectors that is, makes them that much more special somehow.

Welcome jennie. Dive right in and have fun but, beware of concentrating on a small niche too early. Relax and don't let it become work. Burnout is always a threat especially for beginning collectors. Good luck and let us know if we can help.
