This small pinkish piece of paper looks like a "par avion" label, but it has a socked on the nose cancellation. I have never seen anything like it. Does anyone know what it is?

I don't have a catalogue handy, but it should be Finland #M1 in Scott (I think). They're interesting, but they don't sell for much. The sword-and-posthorn military stamps that come a little later in time are quite sharp, to my eyes.

Here's what Scott 2005 has to say about it.

Thanks everyone. Another on relegated to the "we know you" book. All the vowels the Finnish use they should have lent some to the Weslh.
