Although I do own some, they came in the collection I inherited so these are my first purchases of any of the classics. I've purchased many Stamps, but usually spend no more than 10 -12 $. Let me know what you think.

#68

#73

#113

Nice stamps. The 73 is really pretty well centered for this issue and a nice light cancel. Also the 113 has good centering. overal kooks to be a nice addition.

It is always nice to fill in those blank spots in the classic stamp era. :)

The 113 is the nicest of this lot.
I see the 68 has some facial scuffing on the RHS

The whole reason I met him was to get the 113, it's one of the better centered ones I've seen

I like the Black Jack. It has reasonable centering, and a light cancel. The 2 cent post rider is really nice. When the stamp was issued, it was criticized because people said that the horse could not assume the position the designer had it in.

Very nice stamps, I have a feeling that you spent more than $10 on them :) Thanks to rohumpy on pointing out the unnatural gait(?) of the horse on the 113, never noticed before.

I particularly like the #73 - I've always considered this stamp to be one of my favorite US stamps. The face-free cancel makes it easy to study Jackson's likeness. Thanks for posting!

Nice stamps. Does the 113 have a "G" grill, like the 114 locomotive?
