This cover looks like it went through two NY registry stations. Am I confused? Please help, I enjoy trying to see how something got there from here, but it looks like this item had a tough time getting out of the barn and getting where it needed to (a convent). Any help would be great folks. Thanks - Jeff

A lot of times you'll get registered mail postmarks from both the sending and receiving post offices on the back. It's pretty much standard operating procedures and you'll even see this on covers sent between countries too.

Please pester away! I like seeing the covers as do many here and its a chance for us to share knowledge. It will take experience over time to learn a lot of this information and all of us are still learning. I find several things new everytime I go through a dealer's $1 box. This is called the hobby of a lifetime, but I think some reincarnation is in order to get it all in.
