Hi to all

Does anyone know what country issued these, are they stamps or cinderellas?
I thought Russia at first because of the Hammer and Sickle, but the language does not look cyrilic?
Any information appreciated

These are unissued Armenian stamps. They were issued with surcharges in 1922/23.

Armenia has three commonly found sets that weren't issued. The first is a pretty set of eagles and then bicolor landscapes. The second, from 1921, had 17 stamps in 16 different designs, and your top row shows three. The third, from 1922, had ten stamps, all different, and your bottom row shows four.

As Nigel says, the second and third issues were handstamped and used for postage. Many of them have pretty significant catalogue values.

Each of the full sets can be found for a few to several dollars.

[Specialists may divide up the series differently...I'm relying on Scott's take on what went on.]
