I read somewhere that these postmarks with the squared corners are highly collectible and certain postmarks can be very valuable.
Does anyone have any information on these.

Rod222 gets all hot and bothered about these squared circle postmarks Don't let him see it, or he'll start clamouring for it.

Some squared circles, from some countries, may have value. This stamp is a bit too faded/washed out to have much value though, I'd think.

There is a book called "Collect British Postmarks" that gives a lot more information about these postmarks and other British postmarks. Not sure when the last edition came out. I have the 5th edition myself and it's very useful. I would also think you'll need clear and better strike (postmark) to ascertain any value.

I'll join battlestamps in his assesment
probably LONDON EC with letter in corner,
but sadly an over ambitious postal clerk, with poor aim.
one for the "duplicates" pile.
