This is the stamp that got me hooked on stamps. I found it fallen off its hinge in the margin of a stamp album my uncle had given to me. I've counted the dots until I saw spots, scanned them and photo enhanced them. The 15th column never showed clearly in the scans and is pretty faint, but there are definitely 18 rows. In the photograph I finally got that 15th column to pop.

But have I completely deluded myself? I'm seriously considering sending this one out for expertising, but perhaps you folks can help prevent me from embarrassing myself.

The front (small because it's not the money shot):

Thanks for looking!

I'm getting 15x18 which would be right count for a D grill (Scott 85). What does it measure?

12 x 14.5mm. 14mm high if you omit the little half height row along the bottom. This is, again, consistent with the canon.

The count and measurement inicate a C grill. A couple of creases and small perf tears by still a nice find if it is a Scott 85. SMQ for a sound grade 50 is $640.

Any opinions about an expertiser, or even if to expertise? I'm not fixing on selling it any time soon, but if I can't keep my mitts off schmeebay, I may have to!
