Another recent acquisition of a stamp that doesn't seem to have appeared on the forum yet.

Like the #114 I posted about previously, this was another ebay find relatively close to the auction's closing that I was able to get for a very reasonable price.

Very nice it is nice getting some of those last minute goodies from ebay. The coil waste issues are an interesting area of U.S. stamp collecting.

Out of curiosity Russ, how can you tell that these are Coil waste issues ?

stallzer, they are rotary press, the lighter color, lack of image sharpness, inking in margins and lack of back offsetting are good indications of rotary press. They are perf 10 on the vertical edges. Had they been perforated horizontal they would have been perf 11 (11x10). These stamps were originally printed to be Scott 490 perf 10 vertically coils.
