I got his last year. I know it is fake, it would be worth a lot if it were real. The carmine rose color is the first. The 411/413 is listed as carmine and dark carmine. The second is the perfs. They look a little to clean. They math up well to some other 411/413 stamps I have. The edges on the length look good. Does anyone think this is from a 409 coil that someone was playing with or regular 409 sheet?
William

I think it is a 409. The perforator pins used for the 410-413 were heavy and rigid producing very uniform and straiht perforation lines. The next to 1, 2 and 8 perf holes are offset outboard (down) from the rest.

The 409 was sheet and coil. I have a 409 shermack mh. Do you think this would be a 409 from a roll for the private perforation machine? I'm trying to figure out where to put it in my collection.

Could be a 409V Bureau coil. The BEP produced both vertical and horizontal imperforated coil rolls.

Have you checked the watermark? If none is visible, I suspect this is a SC482 with fake perfs at the bottom. The color does not look right for 409/411.
