Have any of you purchased insurance for your collection? The APS kinda promotes one guy but I'm sure there are others. Is it expensive? Any advice?

Greg, my wife was in the insurance business and I think she believes at this point we do not need the insurance..our homeowners insurance I believe would cover some...if someone has a NET Value of $25,000 or more tied up in stamps it might be worth a couple of hundred a year to protect it...Hugh Wood is the APS insurance man..their were 2 guys competing at one time and then there was some kind of problem and now Hugh is the man..this is all one mans opinion..we might like to hear from other APS members on this..phil

I have talked to my Homeowners Insurance representative and Allstate will cover my collection up to $10,000. It would be worth the call to check out your carrier.
