I too, like the art deco design of JamesW's French expo.
And could lust for some of the others. I refrain. I still don't know enough to have a passionate favorite unless it is some cut squares....

This is ONLY because IT is what started me looking at the collection in the first place. One hesitates to say it's downhill?



Otherwise, who knows what I might be doing with my spare time.

Barb - A pretty stamp, the first! That maltese cross cancellation is great (they can actually rust as the pigment or ink used had a heavy iron content).

That cancellation by the way looks odd. I will double-check my specialized catalog when I get home. Certain varieties of the maltese cross cancel can be traced to a particlar town or area.
