Which used copies do you need Smaugie ? Let me know as I have many extra copies of both used, shoot me an email and I'll stick a couple in an envelope and send them over the river :)

Many do not realize the beautiful engraving in both of those pieces, here is a larger scan to show off the Beautiful work.

Designer: Claire Aubrey Huston
Engravers: Louis S. Schofield (vignette) - Edward M. Hall and Frank Lamasure (lettering)

Lovely scans, pity the bison was wonky.
I had never noticed the propeller plant
underneath the bison before.

"Wonky" - From an ancient Australian dialect; possible Aboriginal influences.

Scholars disagree on the exact meaning of this term. It has been postulated that it means "odd", "a bit off", or even "broken". But what they do agree upon is that due to their seclusion from the rest of civilization, ancient Aussies evolved into one of the more "unique" cultures ever studied. As a direct result of the hopeless and horrific living conditions faced by the Aussies, they were forced indoors and eventually resorted to philately, cannibalism, the worship of red rocks, and other misc sundries to pass the time.

Little else is known about this once, proud race of desert dwellers as they disappeared from their homeland almost overnight. Abducted by aliens? Moved under the sea? Hiding in shame after the release of Crocodile Dundee? The world may never know ...

Thanks Rileysan, that about sums us up :)

"wonky" definitions: turned or twisted toward one side.

(If you had a buckled pushbike wheel, the bike would be "wonky")
