The USS Cabot, construction was began in June of 1941 and was renamed USS Lexington on June 16, 1942 after the sinking of the other USS Lexington at the battle of the Coral Sea. She was decommissioned in 1991. Great piece of WWII history.
The card was cancelled on a International Postal Supply Model D42.

Here's another pre-WWII Ship launch in the USS Ranger on February 25, 1933. The cover (along with an insert in the cover giving a brief history) is shown below. Back then it seems the term "airplane carrier" was more popularly used instead of today's "aircraft carrier". Also, given that the launching was prior to the official end of Prohibition, it is interesting to note that the christening was with "unfermented grape juice" instead of champagne. Finally, note the exact date and time of the launch 02/25/1933 at 11:30 AM is reflected EXACTLY in the postmark right down to 11:30 AM. Haven't paid too much attention in seeing many covers with an exact time reflected in the postmark to match a given event:
