Most, and probably all, of these are #7 or 9. Any help to confirm these will show me where to put them in my collection.

Russ'll be along in a while to provide the definitive answer, but in the meantime I'll give it a shot and we'll see how I do. First two are 9s, they have recut curved lines on the outside of the labels. The bottom two are 7s, most of the side ornaments are intact, but the balls and plumes on the bottom are gone. I'm least confident in my call on third; it has a lot of top ornament detail.

First is Type IV (Scott 9) recut once on the bottom with a red New York circular date cancel
Second is Type IV (Scott 9) recut once on the bottom
Third appears (the bottom is cut off) to be a Type II (Scott 7)with a blue Louisville circular date cancel
Last is Type II (Scott 7)

Otto, good call

Thank you very much guys. If it is not too much trouble, within a day or so I'd like to post a few more (7s and 9s I would expect) that I have. I would also appreciate knowing which stamp (and why) you would put in your album if they were yours. Not that I will necessarily put in the ones you suggest but I'd still like to know.

Also, does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not the last stamp might be unused? I made a very high resolution of it and can detect no cancel. The top left appears to be a stain and not part of a red cancel.

Well, then, let's see it! Also, what's on the back?

A third party hosting service, e.g. PhotoBucket, is helpful if SCF rejects it for being too large.
