Just sharing a Pan American Exposition souvenir card. It uses the Scott # 285 one cent Trans Mississippi Expo of 1898 for postage. However, it has the complete set of Pan Am stamps (Labels) and most interesting is the postmark date indicating 1900. The postmark is pretty much unreadable, except the date. This card was part of a promotion by the Raynor Hubbell Stamp Co. of Buffalo, NY.

I think that looks pretty cool, but could we see it bigger. There's a lot to look at there, and hard to make out.
Meanwhile, and only because I did this on you 1893 Columbian thread, here's my souvenir medal from the Pan American Expo.
OK I know this isn't the Coin Forum, but I couldn't resist. I promise, no more metal.

Artlaunier, the following is a thread from earlier this year dealing with the 1901 Exposition which you may find interesting:

James, coins are pretty cool too, especially as they relate to stamps. As to making the pictures larger, I'm at a loss as to doing so. I scan them in and their too big for the forum, I compress them for a WEB page and their too small. I use MS Picture Manager with a HP 4500 Wireless 4 in 1 device. Suggestions welcome.

Sorry Art, I'm using Photoshop on a Mac. It took me a while to figure out how to get them to size on the forum. Hit and miss really. You need some way to keep the physical dimensions large enough but make the file size small enough. Anybody else???

Artlaunier, when you are scanning in your stamp(s) using the HP scanning program, remember to crop it and save the image in .gif format. Open the image in MS Office Picture Manager and in the tool bar at the top, click on "Edit Pictures". When in the Edit screen, use the "Crop" tool if you have to further eliminate unwanted space from around the stamp and if the size of the image is greater than 100Kb, use the "Resize" tool to reduce its size. In the Resize pane, click on the circle beside "Percentage of original width x height" and specify 80%, 60% or whatever figure you need to get under 100Kb.
