Hi, my name is Tim and I'm a pennyholic. Been hanging out on the coin forum for a while, learning and beefing up my cent collection.
I inherited the following hoard of stamps. It's really 3 collections in one. My families from the late 60's, a friend of my sister collection, and finally an Ambassador Album my sister found dumpster diving.
I did some re-packaging trying to get it all in ziplocks, a little sorting but that's about it. My interest is just not there. It needs lots of love! Maybe one day or ebay.
Nice group of stamps. When you get your 50 posts there will be plenty of people that will want to talk to you about possible swaps or purchase. In the meantime welcome and join the fun. - Jeff
Hoping I'm not breaking the rules by being greedy and saying I want it!! LOL Welcome to the forum timsumrall!! Maybe you will reconsider and fall in love with them in time ;)
See some canadian precancels and would be interesting as to what cancels may lurk in those little bags. Theres probably quite a few numistamist amongst us philatist . Have lots of old medalions and other oddball coinage so keep posting away and I'm sure you'll get offers abound. PS Note to self stop thinking of more until you organize what you have!
I'm a numismatist and recently started to get the "Philatelic itch". I just love currency of all types postal and otherwise! Looks like you might have a little treasure trove there! Best of luck to ya!
Nitro, never stop thinking of more! KGV, Thanks for the warm welcome. I saw some Downunder. I'll post 'em :) "little treasure trove" ... if it was any "littler" I'd despair.
I guess I should put some effort in. I should be able to get a country list and maybe some cat #s. I am enjoying my coin photography (not evident in the above pics) so I'll throw up some pics.
If I start shaking and moaning strangely, just slap me around a bit.
Those pictures you posted look strangely like the 3 boxes of stuff that I moved over to my house. It's a fun and long process sorting them all out. I'm to the stage everything is off paper, and sorted into country envelopes. Now to think about albums.
