April 18th marks the famous "Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" in 1775 leading up to the Battle of Lexington and Concord on April 19th.

There must be a number of philatelic covers commemorating that event, so I'll start the thread off with this one:

Nice cover! I just looked up Howard W. Spurr (Coffee) Co. and came up with his "Paul Revere Album". The guy dabbles in a little of Paul Revere's history and A LOT of Spurr's Revere Coffee advertising. It was probably an effective advertising medium in the 1890's (before television or radio):

They came in 1778 also..burned Kingston accross the river from us and the Livingstons mansion on our side..well Livingston had to make a decision..he was with us or he was with them !!
