Italian Overprint 1941 On Greek Stamps

Everyone knows about the 1941 Italian overprints of Greek Stamps in Cephalonia and Ithaca (Itaca) on pairs.

However, I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar overprint on single stamps. I have 7-8 and will make some images to show.

I am thinking they are fakes, but someone with a Michels told me they could be real and valid, and not often seen because of high value.

anyone knows of these overprinted stamps? scott list a couple of them, but gives no price.

How are you going with the scans?

I am interested in seeing these stamps. They are listed in my ancient Stanley Gibbons Part 2 (1968 edition!), but only on some of the Air Mail and Charity Tax issues.

These are listed in the Hellas catalogue.

Hellas lists the following overprints on single stamps (as opposed to pairs):

16 stamps with the overprint: ITALIA / Occupazione Militare / Italiana isole / Cefalonia e Itaca

36 stamps with the overprint: ITALIA / Occupazione Militare / Italiana isola / Cefalonia e Itaca

The only difference between these two overprints is the spelling of the word isola / isole.

42 stamps with the overprint occupazione / Militare Italiana / Isole / Cefalonia e Itaca

37 stamps with the overprint Occupazione / Militare Italiana / Isole / Cefalonia e Itaca

The only difference between these two overprints is the capital or small letter "o" in occupazione.
