James, I would suggest that we don't raise controversial questions of faith on this forum and yes Jesus lived.

i would agree .. there is a number of pther places this can take place...

for this conversation however weather one believes or not the person in question was discounted as a potential candidate based on general acceptance of his age at the time of death...

Ritchie Valens

That may be the definitive answer! According to Wiki he died at age 17 (hadn't yet reached his 18th birthday at the time of his death).

...and to get the topic back to pictures of stamps, here's the image of the Ritchie Valens Stamp (US Scott #2727):

Ok, I'm going to try to redeem myself here.
Check out the portrait of Elizabeth Clarke Copley, daughter of John Singleton Copley on his 1965 commemorative stamp. Don't know how old she is there, but I bet a little research will make her younger than Ritchie Valens.

I suppose there are several "pictures" on stamps younger than Valens, but in the John Singleton Copley stamp, there is no mention of the name "Elizabeth Clarke Copley". Besides, if a quick Google search is any indicator, she may have been a child in the picture, but she lived to the ripe old age of 96.

Hey, wait a minute ... could she be in the running for the oldest person on a US stamp?

Well, now I will get picky. Your original question was the youngest depicted on a stamp. No mention of name on the stamp, and as she appears to be a child on the stamp - when she was depicted - it's irrelevant how old she lived to be. I think you just being testy because I mentioned you know who.

Well...ok, looking back you did say by name. But still.

James, all is forgiven regarding the earlier matter. Your opinion is always valued.
