I don't recall seeing famous "gangsters" or "outlaws" on stamps. Does anybody know of any?

A famous Australian outlaw, Ned Kelly, is commemorated on a few Australian issues.

This one is a little different, as here he is commemorated on an Irish miniature sheet!

Triggersmob, regarding the Abrahams tank, it took a few minutes but the bottom right corner stamp on your sheet is a M1-A1. I've seen lots of tanks on stamps but this is my first M1-A1.

Recent news reports this past week talked about the demise of the last typewriter manufacturer in India. What about a topic of typewriters on stamps?

I was trying to figure out if the typewriter ever made it onto a US Stamp. So far, I've only found two:

The one shown in the lower left of this cartoon-oriented stamp:

...and for a more realistic view, this upcoming US stamp (slated to be issued in July 2011), as included in the sheet for Pioneers of Industrial Design will apply:

I know one thing that won't be on a stamp: a toilet.

That said, I'm sure the Dutch, with their lousy taste in stamp design, are thinking about it.

Although this is a bogus/fantasy issue, it just goes to prove that someone has given thought to such a stamp. (Too much time on their hands, I guess.)

As I primarily collect US issues, I must admit that finding a fountain pen on a stamp was a bit of a challenge -- plenty of stamps depicting the older quill pens ... but a fountain pen? Well, I came up with these two possibles:

Now if you want to change the theme to the older quill pen, I am sure there are a lot of possibilities, so I'll start with this more recent issue from the US:
