Looks very good to me. Has that square shape (so plainly evident in your 88) with the point running vertically through the middle like "|". Richard Doporto has some images of particularly nasty fake grills on
Slingshot Venus, which is not to say better fakes aren't out there.
I hate hinges, and my technique for removing them (taken from Linns) is to put a
new sponge in the bottom of a new but cleaned with soap and rinsed airtight food container (aka tupperware) and wet it but not soak it with distilled water. Place the stamp face up on the sponge and seal the container. 5 or 6 hours later carefully remove the stamp with tongs, place it face down on a clean sheet of white paper, and you should be able to pull the hinge off with your tongs without resistance. Dry in a drying book. Don't use this technique on an unused gummed stamp!
