Could not resist picking up this Exposistion ticket to go with my 1901 set. Ticket was a little worn but it is one of the few I have seen for sale. Just had to have it and in the album it goes. Pics might be a little fuzzy or it is just me.   |

The engraving on that ticket is as complex as a bank note. It's just beautiful, it will be a great addition to anyone's collection. Stuff like that is just not made anymore, what a shame! |

Very nice, the stamps and ticket compliment each other nicely. Here are a few of the Pan-Am expo cancels  B01-14A  B01-15C  B01-12 which was only struck at the Post Office exhibit at the fair |

The ticket scanned above is indeed very attractive. However, I also found this one on the internet:  Just wondering how many different ticket styles they used for that event...apparently a number of different ones exist. Anyone know for sure? |

WOW! I don't have any of this set YET! If I do collect them they will probably have to be used specimens. They are gorgeous bi-colors. When the war broke out and they had to use revenue stamps to help pay for the war the bi-colors had to be abandoned for the massive printings of the revenue stamps and was to time consuming to print. Also, the cattle in the storm is actually based on an Irish scene. cool eh? ya know what... I got the Trans Mississippi set confused with this set...my mistake.  |

Those tickets are fantastic! What auction did you find those on? I would have to bid against you if I knew in time. I have been looking for the Pan Am set of tickets but haven't found any. I did manage to snag a used Lewis & Clark Expo of 1905 to add to my collection. Congratulations to your new acquisition! |

my goodness are they ever so beautiful! You just don't see artwork like that now days. I would do about anything to have something even close to these in my little collection. *sigh* Someday I will finish my Colombian ticket collection. |
