Hello everybody, This is an 1849 ship cover I found. I understand most of the markingsbut there are two that I do not. This cover was sent from Neuchatel, Switzerland to new York via Liverpool. The upper left cds is a double ring? cancel. The outer edge reads Neuchatel at the top and Suisse at the bpttom. The Suisse is in italacs. The inner circle has 10 and 1849. there is something between the two numbers but I can't make it out.The next is a New York Ship Dec.31
stamp, next is a 5 in a circle ( I guess the rate) and a Paid 14 Dec.14 1849 stamp. I don't know what the next two mean. The first is a circle with P.P. inside and the last is a small rectangle containing a P. in italics. No markings on the back. What do the last two stamps mean?
Thanks so much
David
