Hi to all
I have been told that this is scarce postmark for 19th Century Germany.
Can anyone verify that or is it common.
I know that the same stamp cut in half with Ledyt postmark is valuable perhaps the person who told me is confusing this stamp with that one
Regards,
Horamakhet

Hi Khoramkhet, What makes you think this is from Leydt? The spacing doesn't look right to have letters before "EYDT". I would have guessed that it's from Eydtkuhnen on the Prussian/Russian border.

Hi nigel
Just assuming that the L was missing, and I had seen a picture in a book somewhere of a Leydt stamp with a similar postmark, you are probably correct.
Horamakhet.
