Last of my inquiries is these ohio prepaid sales tax receipts. Do these fall into back of book or more in the cinderella category.

These would probably be listed in a State Revenue Catalog specific to Ohio.

The subject was discussed in a previous thread on this forum. Check out this link which may be helpful:

These and other Ohio tax stamps can be found in the Start Revenue Society Catalog. However, this area is becoming more popular and the catalog is now sold out with the next edition being scheduled to come out in 2012.

The SRS site;
http://staterevenue.org/

The SRS catalog list all state revenue stamps for all states, including DC, by state. New state revenue stamps are still being "discovered".

These stamps are priced like all others in that quantity, condition, mint or used all play a role in the cat. value of the stamp.

I was wrong, they are NOT listed in the SRS catalog. Checking out the link in the other thread posted by WT1, those aren't listed either. I could not find a distinction in the SRS catalog as to why they wouldn't be. I guess that they didn't want to include Consumer Receipts in with the Revenue Tax stamps.
