ha-ha I have to agree with rohumpy on this one! I am just too curious in my nature and, as of recent, very excited about learning every thing I can about stamps and reading some of your posts just blow my mind and make me smile all darn day! Thank you S.C.F. and Congrats on said recent achievement! I love this place!

stampcommunity.org is certainly the most useful and friendly stamp collecting forum that I've found - and I've found pretty much all of them.

You would think that if people are moving from one home to another,
that it be conceivable that, irritable bad mannered collectors
would be moving too.
So what is the deal here?
Do people adjust their behaviour in a like group,
does a firm, no nonsense moderating team bring the more agressive to heel?
Interesting stuff.

Having visited a few other sites I have noticed 2 big differences. The first has been well commented on and that is the behavior of the members. The second is the scope and detail of subjects discussed. Do a google search for any stamp topic and you will normally find a thread from here.

I'm more a reader than a writer and I'm visiting both forums. I should say that I found interesting topics also in the other forum but, sadly, in the last months there are not so many as before. In the same time I saw an increase of interesting (for me) topics here. Therefore I can easily understand the figures. But, what is most important, are the number of unique visitors.... That I found really great. The hobby is not dying!

Third Grade name-calling for the schoolyard.

Not sure why you quoted my post Tonymcg, since there is not name calling in it,whatsoever ?

You don't agree that harmony is better than discord?

Strange.
