Hello, This is a c1930 over that has been double stamprd with 2 different values of meter postahe. I just thought it was kind of interesting, more of a curiousity than anything.

An interesting cover. The overstrike for postage was probably just a mail clerk error, though. I find the old-style window envelope interesting (narrow slit for the window) and, of course, the return address from Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Co., which, of course, is today's 3M (as in the Scotch Tape maker). Quite a nice cover considering is more than 80 years old.

These have popped up before on SCF David.
The thing here is to establish correct postage
which is impossible to know with a window envelope.

Did the office lass have an "Oops" moment and re apply
the 2c impression?
Was 3c the correct postage? Because that was he cost
tallied by the franking machine.
