Another one, its perf 11x10.5. I have a second one that doesn't appear to have the extra lines in the hair, so I'm inclined to think that this one is a 634a. It also has a more defined line above the acanthus and more defined corner circles, compared to my other one. What do you think?

Type I Scott 634. Does not have the recut in the hair or the thinline circle in the corners.

Here are the 3 differences in the Type I (599, 634) and Type II (599A, 634A). Type I is on the left, Type II is on the right.


Several lines in the hair are recut and more prominent


On the Type II the line on the arabaque is thicker where it meets the outer oval


On the Type II the circles in the corners are thinner in line width
