Hi all.
I've got a stash of US covers dating from the 1940s to 60s. Nothing hugely special, but nice stamps and cancels. I've sorted out what I'd like to keep, and was wondering if it's worth my while to post them and offer them to my fellow members.
I'd probably put small batches together and sell at a minimal cost or just postage, haven't decided yet.
Possibly even do it as a fund raising scheme for the site. Not even sure how that would work.
If there's any interest, I'll proceed.
Just tossing it out there.

James

Yes many of us enjoy covers. I am particularly drawn to Abraham Lincoln and Illinois covers.

I love cover too...

I have a big bundle of air mail cover, the red-white-blue envelopes, that I wouldn't mind sharing as well.
I have so many it doesn't make sense to hoard them in one place.

EDIT:
I PUT AN AD IN THE MARKETPLACE HERE FOR MINE.
IT IS IN THE "FOR TRADE" FORUM....
PRETTY MUCH ONLY ASKING YOU TO SEND POSTAGE FOR A COVER.

This sounds pretty promising. Once our local posties have settled their little love spat (kidding, I know there are serious issues on both sides) then I can get bundles weighed for postage rates and make a posting under the for sale heading.
Stay tuned....
