I've had this example for awhile now and haven't been able to find too many similar type cancels. Anyone know what type of cancel this is? Is it a machine cancel or perhaps some sort of a handstamp roller cancel that was used on parcels?

Thanks.

That is a good question, wt1. I have some of these roller cancels that I would swear were machine cancels, but it is really hard to tell. My supposition would also be that these are used for large envelopes and parcels. I look forward to see if anyone else has more of an insight on this.

My vote is for a parcel cancel.
