I won this auction on ebay and I think I got a good deal. Tell me what you think. If you were buying these what would you have paid? I got the 3 sets for $4.25

Nice catch there Bryan. I'm fairly still yet but I think that is a very good price, I would have paid it.

Bryan
All 3 pair are nice and fresh well centered for the most part. The important question is are you happy with the stamps for what you paid for them? That's the only real value that counts |

Nice stamps, reasonable price. If you're happy with the stamps then that's what matters. |

I've never overpaid for a single stamp or cover I've ever bought.
I've paid more than an item was valued at, but never overpaid.
If you hadn't wanted those items you wouldn't have bought them, so NO, you didn't overpay.
(Nice bit of Philatelic Philosophy, don't you think?) |

Bryan If your happy with them and what you paid, its a good buy for sure, Only you can answer your question, think we have all paid a lttle extra, but never too much for stamps we've wanted for our collections, As they say the Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder, just as what we pay for an item is our choice. They are nice looking stamps and appear very good in color, look Post Office fresh from the scan. |

Got some pre-cancels for the grandson, will try to get them packed up tonite. Sorry to say sold off most of my pre-canels some time back, but have a few odds and ends still kicking around taking up space, so know now they'll have good home. |

Sneeky.. Dan, thanks I could always use pre-cancels. We are having a lot of fun trying to see how many different states and cities we can find. |

Hi, The centering of the 1 cent makes it well worth the scotts value to me if I needed it. The other two are slightly off center so I would go less on those, but the total would be close to what you paid. As the philosophers said above in other words is "Know your stamps, Know your wallet, Know yourself" Jim |

Bryan Not really for E-Bay sellers, most sellers there try to recoup some of their fees into their S&H. If it was at a auction site with no fees then it would be way too much. |

Brian : You did fine, and I agree with Desertgem, the centering is great on the first one. |
