This is my first Schermack Type III on cover -- I got it on ebay and didn't know at the time of purchase that the Scott 409 had a Schermack Type III perforation. I believe the cancel is an from an International machine but I can't make out either of the die markings.

Nice Schermack on cover!

According to Hanmer Page 105: "A tell-tale feature of many, many, International dials is a very short line or arc just over the year at the bottom of the dial."
When I have a moment, I'll look through his many illustrations to see if we have a match.

Steve, it is an International Postal Supply Co Model D32 machine 1 with service indicator slug omitted. The Elizabethtown receiving is handstamped. Elizabethtown's first cancel machine was a Columbia (installed in 1913) but recieving cancels were by hand.

Nice Russ!
I would never have guessed that based on the photos I have. Machine postmarks are tricky that way. Good call!
