I live in Cleveland and on July 6th there is going to be the "Cleveland Coin, Stamp, Jewelry and Sports Card Show". Are these types of shows a good place to find someone honest to appraise?

We are ready to help you identify your stamps, Marcia.
However if you want some help in your local area,
try asking for help from the Garfield-Perry Stamp Club.
It is a well established and respected stamp club based in Cleveland.
They may be willing to help you to get a rough estimate of the value of your collection.
They can also identify a local dealer that would be a good potential buyer of the collection should you decide to sell.

Marcia... Yes, I agree with T-360

Never go to a stamp show, looking to sell a collection,
here is why .

These dealers, at shows are looking to sell stamps, not buy
stamps.

They will make you the lowest offer, lets say 50 bucks.

When you walk away, they will sell it for a 100 bucks,
after pulling out anything that has a high value.

Also, welcome to the forum
